About Me
With over 28 years as a licensed North Carolina General Contractor (Building designation) and a background in Electrical Engineering, I provide expert consulting for homeowners and small commercial clients across the Triangle area. I have personally built six complex custom homes and have extensive experience in land development — including building roads, subdividing property, working with soil scientists for land evaluations, and managing complex septic system installations. My combination of engineering knowledge and hands-on construction experience allows me to visualize projects in 3D from plans or verbal descriptions. This helps clients identify potential issues early, avoid costly mistakes, and achieve the detailed, high-quality results they want. I’m based in Chapel Hill and currently taking Spanish lessons to better serve the diverse community in our area.

FAQs
What area are you based in?
We primarily serve the Triange Area and surrounding areas, but depending on the project, we may be able to travel further. Get in touch to discuss your location and project needs.
How long does a typical project take?
Project timelines vary depending on the scope of work. A kitchen or bathroom renovation can take a few weeks, while larger projects like extensions or loft conversions may take several months. We provide clear timelines before starting any work.
Do you offer free quotes?
We are able to provide some guidance on cost but this can be variable.
Can you help me with land development?
Yes, we have much experience with many types of land development.
Do you have a list of trusted sub-contractors?
Yes
Can I stay in my home while the work is being done?
It depends on the type of work being carried out. For smaller projects like bathrooms and kitchens, staying at home may be possible with minimal disruption. However, larger renovations and structural work may require temporary accommodation. We’ll discuss this with you before starting.
How do I get started with a project?
Simply get in touch! We’ll arrange a consultation to discuss your vision, assess your space, and provide expert advice. From there, we’ll give you a quote and a clear plan for moving forward.
